Have you been to the Dead Sea?

I've decided to include lots of pictures here to show you just how bare bones all natural it gets when it comes to Pure & Essential Minerals. And I'm talking about their Dead Sea Mud Mask. Yes I gave myself a #deadseafacial!!

Just in case if you don't feel like reading the text on the photo, I'll give you the lowdown... Supposedly it contains real mud from the Dead Sea, which is located in the middle east, way below sea level - the lowest point on the earth's surface. The mud of the Dead Sea is mineral-rich and healing. It draws out impurities, toxins, and oils; is nourishing and restorative. I... will agree!!

Have you read the list of ingredients? Can you pronounce them all? Aside from this mud straight from the Dead Sea, and I really don't know how I feel about that... yet... there's lots of goodness in this jar. I mean, is there really an endless enough of a supply of this magical mud to put in jars for women to put on their faces? Beats me. Either way, it's a pretty incredible mask.

Some of the other skin loving awesomeness mixed in is shea butter, sunflower oil, aloe vera, jojoba oil, and eucalyptus oil. All of the above are organic; bonus points!

The product comes with one of those outside of the container plastic seals, like the type you'll see on some pill/liquid bottles. There is not a seal on the inside under the lid, and I almost wish there was. I almost spilled some in the sink when I first opened it, and there was good product (I could have, but not can't use) on the lid in the little crevices I couldn't get to. Insert sad face here.

It smells ahhhhh-mazing! The eucalyptus is most definitely the front runner. I love eucalyptus. It's cool and refreshing, feels great. While it's working and doing it's magical mud 'thing,' it's really quite invigorating. I took a selfie for you, when it was dry, right before I washed it off. My skin feels soft, firm, refreshed, insanely clean, and pure. Imagine that.

By the way, Pure & Essential Minerals will send you a free natural skin care guide! It is full of great information such as: The top 10 foods for healthy skin, the 5 foods you should avoid, the truth about skin care products, how to choose natural skin care products, how to identify and care for your skin type, and so much more!
